Yeah whilst not perfect, I suppose we should be fair that they're not doing some of the things we've been so critical of them for for months:-
* They actually look a bit more professionally filmed, rather than going for some tired 'ooh, look, I'm all hipster with my raw, shaky camera look'.
* It's not just completely random footage with the BBC One logo slapped over the top. They've properly tailored these to the relevant shows.
Personally I'd not be surprised to find this is the direction the BBC One branding may go full time next year, with idents being shot off the back of the actual programmes every time rather than just occasionally. It allows them to film a lot of sequences, whilst also presumably easier to justify budget for in these belt-tightened times as it can just be accounted for as part of the particular show's marketing spend.
