Amazed someone goes to the effort of writing a script for Piers, he completely ignores the autocue when his bit comes up.

If ITV do want to try it again then I think a late night version of This Morning with Holly and Phil would have worked more. Just with less cringy guests and no bloody mention of football.

If this was supposed to be an attempt to tap into a big audience to 'showcase' GMB to people who don't usually watch it, it has spectacularly failed.

Anyone else finding the sting into the break very lacking? Don’t ever watch GMB but this evenings programme is highlighting how good the screen behind them is. Very nicely crafted background.
