Although to be fair, the only time in the past that the clock went beyond 10am, it didn't sit properly, so there has been some redesigning of the clock.

The fact that there has been so much discussion of a tiny screen clock on this show must be proving how bereft of substance the content actually was.

I know you’re new here but this is TV Forum, a forum where the discussion of ‘clocks’ is more relevant than the content of the programme.

There were a number of times during his appearance where I thought Dyer was actually slipping into acting mode rather than 100% being himself.

All he needs to do now is bring that to EastEnders.

So, I've taken a warning that my comments about Corbyn "may start a flame war" - so I'd like the chance to defend myself and have the right of reply if I may.

The point I was making is most people who are fans of Jeremy Corbyn are, generally, younger.

More Millennials sympathise with Corbyn than they do May. I am 100% sure that's not in dispute. That's why he appears at Glastonbury, and even runs his own festival when like this year Glasto is resting its land, as it does every few years.

My suggestion was to have Corbyn on a light entertainment show when your sister channel is hoovering up the Youth/Millenial audience at the same time (and in the Love Island thread there is a clear consensus that it is a tightly targeted programme) was an own goal on the part of whoever books the guests.

If that was in any way triggering, I apologise unreservedly as starting a flame war was not my intention. A debate about whether the booking was counter productive, yes. A flame war, no.

I think that is a reasonable and valid post.

If your username is anything to go by, you were born in 1984 and are therefore a millennial yourself.

I think you’ve missed the point with regards Corbyn appearing on Good Evening Britain. As far as the youth vote is concerned he’s largely got that sown up. Appearing after an England match on primetime ITV is surely to reach a different demographic especially those who view him as out of touch with working class Britain etc.

There is no point in Corbyn preaching to the converted he’s not going to win an election that way.

I’m also not sure at the idea of people who don’t like Corbyn are not going to be interested in seeing him interviewed. I’d certainly be watching if Theresa May was on there and I’m not a Conservative supporter.

The Conservative Party chairman was also on the show, so there was some attempt at balance.
