The new logo has been revealed, it's in Ariel if anyone can get to it.
Goes on air from 3rd September.

What does it look like? Draw us a crude representation on a bit of paper or something.

Going slightly off topic, here's proof if it were needed of CBBC's new-found indifference towards the 12-16 age group:

Is Richard Deverell the right man to be running the department? I think you know what my answer is.

I don't think he is. I would like to see GH cater for the 12-18 age group a lot more, and perhaps move to the new teen programming slot that's being mooted for the autumn.

And to make things worse, only last year he insisted Grange Hill would continue to cater for teens following the axing of Byker Grove.

Full credit to Mr Deverell, however, for giving us so much of his time.

That is horrible. It may look different on screen though.

EDIT: Someone beat me to it. Embarassed

That's actually not a bad logo, figured for much worse given the usually justified pessimism given to most rebrands now. Can tell a lot of folk will not like it though, better to reserve a full judgement until the brand gets unveiled alongside.

It's got the building-blocky, lego-type look that seems to be all the range amongst things for teenagers these days. The shade of green too.

I second that too, people might not like it, but it looks more modern and fits in with the style for younger people today, it maybe very graffiti, but I like it.

The current logo just looks dated now and it looks even worse since they removed the blobs to go with it.

It'll probably look better on screen, same with hopefully BBC Three whenever that's happening too.
