I notice BBC News made a big fuss of Blue Peter leaving TV Centre yesterday (because they're moving to Salford too). Some of the viewer retrospective comments they used sounded like the whole show was ending (one praised Peter Purves and his co-hosts)! The only things that ended were Andy's time as a presenter and the usage of TVC. In fact, Andy's departure wasn't mentioned on the news reports, and when Barney was asked what was in store at Salford, he just said "lots of exciting things" making no mention of a new host. Surely it won't just be him and Helen?

Came across this clip on You Tube, which towards the end has a holding slide for rarely seen, and opening titles for the See-Saw programme " Over the Moon ". Great seeing this again...

I agree with you 100%. Time for a change. I don't think much will happen now till new year if Iain is leaving in December. Maybe they look for a new duo and give them a new set for the new year?
I rather disagree with some of you. I feel the office set has become very tiresome and tedious. Isn't it time for a new concept?

I agree that CBBC need a change of set. But If they are going to change it will be in September [when they move]. I can't see them changing in the new year.
Also, when they move will the office be completely rebuilt?

And with the risk of also sounding like the Daily Mail why has it turned into a younger person's equivalent of OKTV or Live from Studio Five?
At the risk of going all Daily Mail why on earth does Newsround now have two presenters for a seven minute bulletin?

I think its to give it more of a friendlier feel. Also one of them will do the whole afternoon of CBBC Channel bulletins and the other will be making reports for the shows.

Exactly right. They're already in the office making reports, so if anything they may as well get their money's worth and have them present the bulletin too.
