First sign of Christmas on UTV , they're doing the annual Christmas toy giveaway instead of the usual Watch to Win competitions.

Anyone recognise the graphics? Wink

I'm predicting (but take no notice of me) that the beeb will launch their Christmas schedules on Thursday December 21st. This is because, one of their Christmas movie premieres airs at 8pm on that day. The film in question is Bruce Almighty.

Most schools will finish on the 15th December. In my area anyway.

Well down here the schools are often different - we had half term a week later than England (the first time ive known it to go into November)

I saw it after the main Strictly Come Dancing show and after the results show.

It was normal trailer style but there was sparkling around the BBC1 logo and finished with the slogan "The one for Christmas . There was a lot of Dr Who and Robin Hood in the trail and I saw a bit from EastEnders of Pauline in the snow. The rest of it I didn't what show it came from. I think this trail was for the drama shows only.

Overall, it was the same as last year but in the new style trailers. It was nothing special (well, for me anyway).

EDIT: The shows that were shown were: Ruby in the Smoke, Robin Hood, Doctor Who, EastEnders, Dracula, Wind in the Willows

I'm glad see those graphics are still in use, the best Christmas graphics ITV had in my opinion.
