Expect some already are. The likes of Wilkinson will probably start next week or the week after.

Ho ho ho.

I expect Doc Martin might be on Christmas Day, there is supposed to be a special episode coming up, and ITV seem to like Martin Clunes to appear on Christmas Day.

ITV don't usually show the movie premieres at Christmas, but lets hope they give The Grinch a rest on Christmas Day, maybe they'll show Ice Age again. I understand they have the next Harry Potter which would be due an airing soon, but unlikely at Christmas.

The next Harry Potter will be most likely be on next year. A few weeks before Christmas obviously, knowing ITV. Rolling Eyes

I expect they'll bring Chamber of Secrets out again this year though, maybe a bit nearer to Christmas this time round as it probably won't get as many viewers as it did last year. Although they already had it on earlier this year - in fact, if I remember correctly, it went up against Doctor Who.

I know what you mean about The Grinch as well. It seems it's not Christmas at ITV without that film.

The Grinch is to ITV1 what The Santa Clause is to BBC1, really.

Was kinda ironic last year when Shrek, which had premiered at Christmas a year before but was repeated that year, got higher ratings than the premiere did afterwards, Toy Story 2.

Shrek was all we watched last Christmas Day, the second one had Premiered on Sky Movies and then the first one was on BBC One in the afternoon, and then back to Sky.

Does anyone know what Movies we're expecting to see on the BBC and ITV over Christmas? I keep hearing Love Actually is going to be shown... Confused

They've got Love Actually, but because advertisers spend so much during the run-up to Christmas they'll probably screen it a few weeks before Christmas.

It's a shame that they don't work like the rest of the ITV channels by screening a movie and then screening it again later in the week or a couple of weeks later.

They could at least have a repeat airing late on Christmas Day i suppose.

I believe that the BBC is to screen Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl and Calendar Girls. These are their biggest offerings this year. God knows about ITV, they lost the plot some years ago.
