Well that's the Christmas Radio Times ruined then

Nobody can wait for anything anymore can they

Plus I'm sure leaking an entire schedule like this is a sacking offence

Well, I fopr one am looking forward to the Radio Times Xmas special. To whet our appetites, the BBC have announced a pretty good line up of programmes and movies. Films I found interesting that are on are:
Bruce Almighty,
Cold Mountain,
Seabiscuit,
Mrs Henderson Presents,
The Santa Clause 2,
Pirates of the Carribbean,
Holes,
High School Musical ,
Monsters Inc,
Sinbad and Calendar Girls. All on BBC1 as well. Far more impressive than last year! ITV needs to go and hide in a corner and wait for annihilation.

See that movie I've highlighted in bold? That's a TV movie. Since when have the BBC ever shown TV movies?

The new issues of TV Quick and TV Choice (but not Radio Times, TV Times or Whats on TV) were in the shops down here today ( a day earlier than expected) so there is hope we might get the Christmas issue a little earlier than the 12th but I wouldnt bank on it.

Does anyone know when we will see this years first airing of the Christmas trails? Must be anyday really!

I'm surprised no one (except for shopping channels) have gone festive.

I think quite a few of the music channels have actually, though usually children's channels are quick off the mark. ABC1 has aired a christmas promo for a new Christmas episode of 8 simple rules (I think) airing on sunday where the promo and logo is all gold and shiny.

Wasn't it last year that ABC1 did nothing?

Hopefully that will change this year with the effort put in at easter and halloween.

Disney Channel are usually pretty quick off the mark (though I did notice that they aren't airing any idents inbetween trailers and programmes), though they also have Christmas programmes airing over the weekend too.

Wasn't the BBC One christmas movie promo with Chicago as background last year? Didn't it air around the 8th?

Hopefully the TV companies are delaying things a bit this year - I certainly don't want to see any idents before Friday 22nd at the earliest (most schools round here don't break up till then!).

Usually the BBC schedule a Christmas promo, generally as a filler just before the 10pm news.

I'd tip a week tomorrow actually - the Strictly Come Dancing results show is billed in a much longer slot than normal.

Me neither. 22nd is fine. Most people finish school/work that day (I know I finish work then) so Christmas can really start then.

Most schools will finish on the 15th December. In my area anyway.

Schools finish on 22nd December. Late this year, but it gives a whole week in Jan off.

So what do we reckon the music to the BBC One Christmas promo will be this year? No doubt there'll be sparkling red circle sweeps in it at least.

I wonder if Channel 4 will be doing anything this year? They seemed to have brought out new idents like fresh bread within the last few months. Would be nice as they were scrooges last year.

If Digiguide normally right? I've just downloaded it today and it says that EastEnders is on 8.40pm - 10.10pm. I thought it was in two parts this year.

I find it hard to believe it'd be on for 90 minutes.
