In the circumstances keeping both buildings going is probably wiser? If you look at what happened with CBS in New York having to be closed for extensive deep cleaning after employees got the virus having two locations capable of providing a pan regional service looks like a good contingency plan.

Just seen the 7:55, and it looks like this is the case, it was obviously pre-recorded yesterday.

It was the same with the GMB bulletin I saw after 7am this morning.

There was somewhere a suggestion that the c word was involved and it would be sorted soon and that it would be back possibly pan regionally at first and possibly from the small studio in Nottingham at first before going back to Birmingham as soon as possible.
To be single regional again. Also suggested that Leeds May need to do a calendar insert or a bulletin called itv news central soon themselves due to the c word and all the extra news creadted

I suspect that Look North EY&L opted at the wrong time. As Crashed back into the network news after. So we had the five minute bulletin at 6.10 now what looks like the evening news

And so it was. Same bulletin now airing with apology for 'earlier technical issues'
