I forgot to post this yesterday but it was the 15th anniversary(!!) of the CiTV 20th Birthday Bash programme. I was very excited in the run up to this being broadcast and was not disappointed.

I can't believe that it was 15 years ago. Which even more so means that it is 5 years since the old skool weekend.

Where does time go?

Here's an oddity, "HTV presents" at the start of Mistress In Suspense, in 1992.

Some absolutely brilliant uploads on this YT channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/TheAmberChannel/videos relating to the appalling BBC management, as well as "Christmas tapes". The p***-take on the move to Salford is spot on - an unmitigated disaster that is being replicated by ITV and its cronies with the loss of the South Bank Centre, Teddington, Wembley Studios. We've definitely seen the end of broadcasting as we know it and we now have an over-reliance by ITV on soaps which could end up killing the goose that lays the golden egg, i.e. Coronation Street and "reality" shows which non-entities that push out genuine artistes and performers. Modern TV is on its knees - why else do people hanker so much after retro telly?

Hard to believe this piece of presentation is over ten years old now, but it still holds up well in my opinion.

That has some great potential to make it as a screensaver.
