Much better. There are a couple of examples recently where I've only started watching something towards the end of the series and wanted to go back to catch up, but couldn't.

I don't really understand though why they can't just keep things online though. All4 seems much better if you just fancy watching something without being constrained by it having to be something that's only just been on.

The current releases are evaluation ones. A change to the iPlayer licence will be needed to go back to 30 days for everything. Ofcom will need to do that, so it'll be a test of the new regime.

As for leaving stuff online, that will immediately demonitise it, which the BBC can't afford now, arguably never have.

Couldn't find a BBC Archive section so thought I'd post this here. A rare clip from the children's programme Star Turn. The only other time I've seen a clip from this was during the clips before Brian Cant got his Children's BAFTA

It appears BBC Three's 'Daily Drop' had been quietly 'dropped' - http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcthree/daily-drop now redirects to the BBC Three homepage.

Technically, the webpage has been 'dropped' but the articles are still being made on the homepage.

BBC iPlayer on Connected TV has a new background skin, which was introduced last week on the YouView and Sony 2015 releases at least. Makes it feel a little more friendly. Mimics the skin on the Sport and News apps now.

Put a /0 on the end of the URL and it takes you to the wide layout: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/0 Smile

Yeah, on the main page. Click on any link and it's not as wide - and adding /0 just gets you a 404 error.
