The live National League (nee Conference Premier) game at lunchtime yesterday - Maidstone v York - used the old graphics and looked very odd because the DOG is a bit lower on screen than it used to be - which wouldn't be a problem if BT's graphics weren't designed to line up with it.

Looks like nobody could work out what looked better (or least worse) because the DOG swapped from bottom to top and back again about five times during the programme. Started at the bottom, shifted to the top during the build-up, moved back to the bottom for the match, and then was back at the top again by the end of the programme.
Presumably that's the last time we'll ever see those graphics, unless they wheel them out for the Conference highlights tonight, and they've been using them since day one so a bit of an end of an era. That said, Sky have often changed their graphics but still had remnants of the previous set on some sports for years after.

Indeed as noted on the Sport thread the old graphics are in use right now for rugby sevens, albeit with DOG moved to the top. Presumably it'll be a slow roll out then.
All but confirmed this afternoon that for virtually every BTS UK UHD event from now on, single production will be the norm, ie produce whole in UHD and downscale to HD and SD from that. Only known exceptions will be UEFACL/UEFAEL matches produced in the UK which could still be dual produced for UEFA purposes.
Probably the best aspect of the relaunch - the BT Sport ESPN HD Live DOG, while still fairly big, is smaller than before and, like the other channels, no longer has a coloured background.
