The Piers and Susanna Christmas advert is the best one yet. I love it.
That alone is worth the license fee.

Did anyone capture this one. Can't find it online.
Looks to be a joint advertising campaign with ITV, Channel 4, Sky and Tesco, "bringing magic to some of your favourite shows".

Great to see more of the advert than what we'd usually see, however they've still cut the majority of the song and the "build up" at the beginning. For reference here's their 2016 Xmas Ad:
and from 1997
Also notice it now also includes "Please recycle" at the end, which I believe is a first.

Nice to see more of the song getting an airing than it has in recent years, but yes a shame that it no longer lines up with the visuals as well as it has in the past. Is the shot at 0:17 in the 2019 version of the above a clip from elsewhere that they've spliced in? Looks to be higher quality than the rest of the advert to my eyes.
I'm also vaguely disappointed that they've stopped using whatever their latest audio jingle at the end of the advert, which used to always get quite neatly tacked on! For years it seemed to be a five note jingle (the same notes used in their 2010 World cup advert, but I'm not sure if the jingle predated that ad), but over the past few years it's been a different jingle to match the 'taste the feeling' slogan.

Yes, but not in recent years.
Apparently, its not PC to have an elderly man winking these days. That's according to Patrick Flynn, the guy who came up with the idea in the first place for Coca-Cola...
So the Coca Cola advert came on and we have this argument in my family where we wonder if Santa in the Coca Cola advert winks.
Did he ever wink in the advert?

The Sun suggests that advert will start airing from 9pm tonight in a 2 minute format, presumably with a Sky endcap.
Since the extended version is basically the key scenes from the film modernised (he arrives, faffs around on the internet, rides a bike and then buggers off again), its probably safe to assume the 2 minute cut will just cut all the fluff out and still feature a flying bike and the spacecraft shooting off at the end.

They do, although it's a measly 2 mins long with some hideous audio jumps.
Any idea if Sky will have their own cut?
