Could it possibly be the best Christmas advert ever?

No, that's the Andrex duck.

Ironically it's the Xfinity version which looks like the logo is tacked on the end whereas there's a far smoother transition in the Sky version.

They also CGI'd in a Sky Q remote and STB instead of the Xfinity ones Elliott uses in the original advert.

And the references to 'holidays' changed to 'Christmas'

This is not OK - ET will forever be the face of BT in my heart:

ET seems to go in circles - those BT adverts were on air in 1999, 17 years after the film came out.
20 years later, he's back again on TV.
Wonder where he'll pop up again in 2037?

Assuming of course ET isn't remade in the mean time, although Spielberg did sanction the "20th anniversary" version which he later disowned. Apparently.

The infamous replacing guns with walkie talkies version. Yes, he's said he doesn't want that released again.

Unlike Lucas who keeps tinkering with Star Wars and refusing to allow the originals to be released.

Bit random but had anyone else noticed we haven't had a Morrisons Christmas advert yet.

Are they just waiting until December or not doing anything this year?

There are some basic short ads promoting offers with a slightly Christmas version of ‘pretty shining people’ by George Ezra in the background, but that is all.

Thinking about it (and then checking on YouTube) did they do a main one last Christmas?

On ITV,there was a short sting before I'm a Celeb. Maybe it links to ANOTHER Christmas ad?
