Sky News Australia has been removed from Sky TV here in New Zealand and replaced with Fox Sports News. Unsure why, however early this afternoon they were showing the graphic video showing the shooting so that may be related

TV news here (1 News and Newshub) has been on rolling coverage since around 3pm when the real nature of the event became apparent. From looking briefly online, it seems like intl' outlets are dipping into either one of these two get live shots from the PM, police commissioner, etc.
That introduction on the first channel didn't mention it was a mosque until the reporter casually mentioned it - in a way which assumed the introduction should have mentioned it but it didn't (she just calls it the Mosque rather than mentioning it's name.) The stock footage of people praying in a mosque would have been a clue but not clarification. The second channel was more concise

Reporters from 1 News / TVNZ also seem to have been doing live spots for Al Jazeera, ABC News (Australia) with updates.

Might also be legal reasons to do with the naming of suspects and reporting of information about them which would contempt of court in New Zealand (New Zealand probably have somewhat similar laws on it to the UK.) but not illegal in Australia.
