Returning to this, I've realised that it's when I access the site via a bookmark that I get issues. That seems to be because the website is saved as tvforum.co.uk, whereas accessing it through the default .uk is fine. So, an easy workaround for me now that I've spotted it, but I figured it was worth pointing out to you. Again, YMMV on how widespread any issue is.
I've not spotted any downtime as such, best try with another internet/mobile connection if it happens again.

What's the feeling on posts like this?
To me it just screams of the thing where people feel they have to say something, but don't actually have anything to say. Should we be reporting posts like this or are they appreciated? Maybe we could have a minimum word count on posts at least?

The only reason for a one word answer is if you're directly answering a question and there's nothing else really to say. There's been a few cases where people have basically said 'thanks' and still given kudos, but the point of kudos was to avoid that.
I'd forgotten I'd even implemented that. Not sure why I did, given we don't force it on the main title.

One word posts are incredibly irritating on web forums, even more so when they quote a chain of six other quotes and stick a one word answer under the whole lot...
