Don't know if this is common but instead of crashing into a report half way through, BBC One tonight ran the looped countdown for a little while and then the regular titles, timing it perfectly.

I saw that a couple of weeks ago as well, so maybe they have seen sense and are joining at an appropriate time.
Celebrity Mastermind was a change to the scheduled episode although I believe the change was made sometime ago. Anyone got an old listings magazine the mentions which episode was meant to be shown?

Adil Ray, Mark Porter, Kevin Eldon and Jordan Stephens. Have any of them died/become paedophiles recently?
Or they realised that they were risking being done for trades descriptions by calling it "Celebrity" Mastermind.
Perhaps rather than one of the contestants becoming inappropriate to be featured, one of their specialist subjects was somebody who isn't able to be shown now?

Jordan Stephens - The Life and Times of Ross Geller
Kevin Eldon -The Music of The Beatles
Dr. Mark Porter - History of the Porsche 911
Adil Ray - Fawlty Towers
EDIT:
Turns out that Jordan Stephens is one of the Rizzley Kickers. They were also on Christmas Question of Christmas Sport Christmas this evening so maybe the episode of Celebrity Matermind was changed to avoid a Rizzley Kickers overdose.
BBC One HD (England) had the 'Programmes from your area are not available' screen up for the end of BBC Breakfast, the promos after it and the first minute or so of The Gruffalo. This was on Freeview HD.
