International News Presentation: Past and Present

Yes but was very faint. I think they drew a ton of inspiration from NBC’s Today from the graphics in the headline bed to the logo.

In addition to Saturdays, there seems to be, on KAN 11 in Israel, slightly different intros for newscasts broadcast on holidays (מהדורת חג).

The main difference with the usual news intro is that the shade of blue seems to be brighter.

For example, two of these newscasts this year, respectively during Pessah (5th of April) and Shavuot (19th of May).




In the second example, the "clock" element of the intro is visibly blurred. I can't tell whether it's because the newscast didn't start at 8pm on that day (they could just have replaced it by a countdown just like on other KAN 11 news intros).

Kind of presentation. WJZ (CBS Owned station in Baltimore) has been rebranding at a snails pace since last September. With local state elections coming up they were testing out their results ticker (which I can guarantee looks nothing like other CBS Owned stations) except it accidentally made it to air. It was only there for six seconds during Dr. Phil.

Eww... do they even employ Graphic Designers from this decade at that station?

Here’s a montage I did in February. Now they’re on a temp set with an updated background and one their news desks. I was messaged them on Facebook because they’ve been on it for about two months so far and they said it they don’t know when it launches after giving me a date of late July.
