Is the big new screen in the studio a new addition? It looks a lot better, the screens in the regional studios are far too small.

From watching the late bulletin last night the studio looked no different, although I’m happy to be corrected if so. I wouldn’t be surprised if the screens have been replaced at one point as it was clear that the programme title had burnt onto the screen.

I’m not sure what the fault was, but I’ve known in the past they’ve defaulted to Calendar to fill the regional news gap.

It did default to Calendar but before that we had a full screen of Good Morning Granada which was quite interesting.

It did allow people in the Granada region a chance to wake up with the rather easy on the eye Otis Holmes.
