The ONLY Official Christmas Ident Thread 2004

Oh I'm really getting in the festive spirit now! Even hearing the continuity announcers saying 'Merry Christmas' gets me all excited!

yeah, I'm not sure why it has be the end of this thread! after all, BBC2 arn't doing anything, C4 may be slightly interesting, C5 will probably be similar to last year's and ITV1 will probably be OK, but it seems a shame that they can't be discussed in one thread like last year! Last year's 2003 Christmas Ident thread stretched up to 42 pages, it's a record that square eyes can boast cos this one looks as though is not allowed to compete with that.

The thread certainly doesn't have to end and won't be locked or anything. It's just that as each channel premiers their Christmas pres, it should have a dedicated thread. There's very little going on at the moment and one thread lumped with everything about Christmas presentation is unwieldy and a nightmare for casual users. Utilise the thread listings page!

Not sure if it warrants a thread of its own, but anyway BBC THREE has just unveiled its Christmas look and already seems to have outdone its bigger brothers with two new idents so far!

The audio is the same as on the regular idents, but note that the box is blue rather than the usual white.

Have they? I haven't watched the channel for a few weeks thanks to them just cycling round the same old programmes over and over again, so I just thought they were new tonight.

Sky Sports are re-using their snowman idents from last year.
