I don't know about others but sometimes in internet explorer a rather large ad pops up and covers the first post in some forums.

Yes, I've been seeing that too. I keep on clicking the arrow top right of the ad and saying it covers the content, but it still appears. Back to AdBlocker.

Someone has put an entry for GMB in the calendar today. Unnecessary but also incorrect start time.

Edit: thy have put it in every day through to 8 April Rolling Eyes

I suspect it's that GMB fantasy rota person.

Incidentally someone has put Easter Day in the calendar for tomorrow.

Gulity as charged over the Easter Day date But there appears to be no way of correcting it to Sunday (unless anyone knows how to do this)-Also The Boat Race one is wrong as well as that should be Sunday at 2:25 on BBC1

I've banned the member for effectively spamming the calendar. I'll have to make it clearer on what should go on there - and that doesn't include holidays, regular programmes or 'on this day' events unless it's a big milestone.

I would argue you don't need every day of a sporting event listed separately, just the first will do.

Jason/Andrew, I've dug around the code and that shouldn't happen (obviously I guess!) so when it does it again can you take a screenshot and hopefully that'll help me debug it.

Thanks Asa.

Next to the ad it's self yesterday there was a X button and when I clicked on it and it gave me options to remove it. The options were something like "Its spam, it's irrelevant or it's annoying" I clicked on the option that I thought best and the advert disappeared and changed to a different one that doesn't block the forums.

Am I the only that has this error on the bottom of the home page? Under the section "Activity", it says for me "Welcome to our newest member, joining -1 other members."

If I'm not the only one, I would love if a administrator/moderator could please fix this.

You're not the only one, it's been like that since the crash a few weeks ago. Before that (but after last August's revamp), the 'newest member' stayed the same for over 4 months, even when new members joined during that time, and the number never changed.
