Well, you've had a TVF member have his 24 hours of fame as result of this. I even had a live interview on the ITV Lunchtime News... As a massive media geek, it has all been tremendous fun!

Thank you! The video was recorded by somebody in the cathedral who was there to hear the performance - they put it up via the Cathedral's Facebook and YouTube accounts and then... wow! None of us predicted this.

I've had a mad day - such fun to be part of an ITN production, who were absolutely brilliant to work with, coming in at very short notice (the reporter was originally headed to Cambridge for a different story before he was called into St Albans). Also very interesting to see how the show is put together, how the comms worked and so on. A real dream for a TVF member!!

It was around this time they were pretty much forced by Michael Jackson's recoed label into showing Billie Jean, I beleive. A case of either you show it, or you can't show anything by any of our artists.

Oscar-nominated director Martin Scorsese's brilliant, controversial and unorthodox film about the life of Christ. Willem Dafoe stars as Christ, with Harvey Keitel as Judas, Barbara Hershey as Mary Magdalene, Harry Dean Stanton as Paul, David Bowie as Pontius Pilate and Verna Bloom as Mary. Passed uncut, it created a furore, with the Catholic church and some elements of the press calling for it to be banned and some cinemas screening it were the subject of vociferous demonstrations. Screened in tribute to David Bowie, who died on Monday 11 January 2016.
