BBC have released their plans for Wimbledon this year, the qualifiers from Roehampton is being broadcast on the BBC Sport website and app presumably because it clashes with the Eastbourne International on BBC Two. Boris Becker is also returning this year although unfortunately no sign of Andy Roddick or Lleyton Hewitt.
I suspect Eastbourne coverage might dip into Wimbledon qualifiers when Brits are involved or during breaks in play for update but I didn't expect it to be anywhere other than the BBC Sport website to be honest.
BBC listings in Digiguide show Wimbledon qualifying on the red button 11:00-17:00 each day (Mon-Thu) before Eastbourne coverage starts at 17:00 ready for transfer from BBC Two at 17:15.
Comparing the Eastbourne listings with Eurosport's, they are coming on air after the first ATP match which suggests they are only showing the WTA matches, but towards the end of the week the coverage overlaps more with where Eurosport has ATP matches listed, so I am wondering if the BBC have ATP matches from QF onwards, or perhaps the timetable isn't finalised yet.
The official Championships poster has been unveiled - this year it features a nod to the Philips PM5544 test card to mark 90 years of broadcasting of the Championships.
Queen's coverage over-ran today so they dumped it to the red button at 17:35, in place of Glastonbury, then 20 mins later it started raining so they've left it on the red button - if and when it resumes today it will be online only.
After all that they ended up ditching the first couple of hours each day for Taekwondo. Then because the weather was so bad at Eastbourne they ended up staying with Wimbledon qualifying after the advertised finish time of 5pm except today when it finished before then which was lucky because Eastbourne played late.
Extra red button from Eastbourne tomorrow morning from 11 as Watson and Konta both made the semi finals.
