I don't know... Looking at some digital channels, Sci-Fi does some pretty horrific stuff sometimes. Living TV promotes shows all the way through some programmes, and Disney probably has the worst DOG of all possible worlds.

So I'd say we're getting there.

On Points of View today they did the usual thing of taking complaints and saying your wrong.
Their justification was that many viewers contacted them wanting to be better informed of schedule changes and new programmes - so these are designed to highlight those and programmes on other BBC channels.
My Point of View is not objecting to these promos - but how badly designed the BBC one is.

They do talk a load of crap (in my opinion). How can a banner telling us the News is up next at 10.30pm be telling us of programmes on other channels and schedule changes. They don't help their cause at all.

I think on that occasion (during Dirty War) it was because the news is normally on 10pm on a Sumday and if people were switching on to watch it.... well they needed to be informed when it was on.

Good old "Points of View", Terry and the rest of them dodging any criticism given and basically telling us they're going to do what they please. Surely they won't actually keep them? They must have had more complaints they they did for the Cliffhanger trailer.
