On Westcountry Live tonight, they showed the outside of the ITV Westcountry HQ. It was blue and yellow with the logo. The dish also had their logo with the blue and yellow squares.

Does anyone know if all the regions have this look on their bulidings?

I don't know about the GMG regions but, Central is getting the same kinda sign as Westcountry.

I don't know about buildings - but what about the vans.

Border replaced all theirs and they are very recognisable throughout the region. They are the ITV dark blue with ITV NEWS Border on the bonnet and rear, and Lookaround and Border News on the side with the 4 squares. Are other regions ones similar, or not ?

The Westcountry building was always heavily branded - so it would have been very easy just to give it a new lick of paint.

Other buildings are a lot older, have brick facades and are in prime city centre locations..... not ideal at all for a garish corporate colour scheme

I know HTV West have taken down the Logo from the front of the building and the 3D sign outside is now yellow and blue with ITV West on it

I was in Norwich last weekend, and half of Anglia Television's Anglia House is up, "For Let" with "Anglia Television" missing outside the main foyer, yet "Anglia Television" is still proudly displayed outside the other part of Anglia House.

Well we all know that Granada still has the big red "GRANADA TV" on the side of it. They did have Granada Reports clipboards when Tony joined back in October, but after the new look we just got a big "ITV GRANADA" logo stuck over them.

I find all this "corporate image" business slightly amusing when the West section of the ITV "corporate image" website still shows a picture of the building with the old HTV sign outside.

You'd think somebody would introduce the left hand to the right hand, wouldn't you?

Well the chevron has been missing from the front of YTV on Kirkstall Road, Leeds for months now.

The "Yorkshire TV" lettering is still there, and you can make out the shape of a chevron where it used to be by the fading on the bricks. Somebody had said it was taken off because of high winds, but I doubt that, I'm waiting for a yellow and blue ITV YORKSHIRE to pop up someday.

The chevron flag has already been replaced with an ITV Yorkshire one.

Central News vans still have the the boring CENTRAL NEWS font from two looks ago on it. Well, the one that passed my workplace the other day did. The highlight of my day!

Tyne Tees seems to have been forgotten about, the buildings outside still have the gold TTTV logo from 1998 on them. The vans are grey/silver with the 2002 TTTV logo. And inside the TTTV reception area has the 1992 logo still there.

I know it might be said that its due to City Road likely being closed shortly.. but the Teesside studio is the same.

Not forgetting the Tyne Tees Television sign on City Road which dates to the early 70s, in the same font as the old 70s/80s idents......

Of course, they've been forgotten about in some other areas as well. They're still referring to Tyne Tees on regional trailers and the website is still going strong and is still being advertised on-air. Mike Neville still seems to take some pleasure in mentioning the name of the station on a fairly regular basis as well. Seems they aren't going down without a fight -- something that's been ingrained in the staff up there for over 12 years now Wink
