Cilla Black has died

BBC very much prepared with a virtually complete news report, including reactions from Twitter, it was to their advantage that they waited.

Looks like they were caught on the hop, just a few tweets mentioned and a discussion in the studio, no obituary shown as yet.

It seem this story may have broke nearly two hours ago but still not getting "Official" confirmation.

Gavin just said Spanish police confirmed a British women has died of natural causes, with the initials 'CW' being Cilla White her real name

Lord Grade seemed to confirm that Cilla had been ill for some time.

It might be a while before we get "official" confirmation, because Cilla's agent is also her son.

Actually Gavin just said PW ie Priscilla White, but still that just now the official announcement.
