Alert for Karin Giannone fans in the UK: were lending her to the News Channel this afternoon at 2pm for a three hour afternoon shift. But please don't get too comfortable, as she is ours and we will need her back very soon.

I'm, sure Rachel Hodges did it one week fairly recently when Tim was on earlier with Annita

It could be one of those days when the 8:30am presenter is on till 12pm then the 2pm present starts at 12pm.

It's happened twice before with Carrie Gracie this year. And last year with Kasia Madera/Roger Johnson!

Jane presented solo from 1:30pm-2pm.

Clive Myrie and Sue Thearle presenting the 2-5pm shift.

Bejabbers!!!

That Ben Thompson is tall, isn't he? In fact, he's so tall, that whilst standing up at the screen to present the biz on World, the intro shot has to literally sweep up from floor level, giving us a great view of the ceiling and lighting matrix above him in N8. Tall. Tall.

Lighting creeping into the head shot as well.

Yeah and Joanna's off this week as well it seems. Jon Sopel and Carole Walker on the 7pm shift.
