For those who lived in the Southern/TVS region, it has been reported that Trevor Baker - 'Trevor the weather' - has passed away at the grand old age of 94.
Trevor was a very, very popular news forecaster in the area and was well known for his charitable work. For many years after retiring he pushed a charity trolley around Southampton General Hospital. From personal experience I can say he was a genuinely nice guy, completely unaffected by his public popularity.
