Just thinking BBC Sport will be quite busy next Winter.
As well as the Six Nations throughout February and March, plus the FA Cup (presumably 3 games per round again!), there is also the Winter Olympics running from 10-26 Feb in Turin, Italy, and the Commonwealth Games just a month later from 15-26 March from Melbourne.
Generally in the past the Winter Olympics and Commonwealth Games have been anchored from London (with some great virtual studios back in 1998!) - and though I think Claire Balding did most the Winter Olympic coverage last time around, the BBC presenting team will probably be quite stretched without Steve Rider, and with John Inverdale tied up doing the Rugby (though it's perhaps no coincidence England play in Italy the first weekend of the Winter Olympics!
Also, is Craig Doyle still with BBC Sport - not seen him do Sunday Grandstand for ages!
P.S. Also wonder is Steve Rider will present the Autumn Internationals, or whether he'll be on gardening leave?
