Logo: it was designed to fit with the channel's content : serious drama, documentaries and not-so-light entertainment - all that meant that the channel needed to have a serious logo however not-so-corporate as, for example, BBC and ITV channels have.

*

The logo is purely geometrical. It signifies that various content shown on the channel (patchwork-ish) creates the 'Six' (the number figure), and also it shows that Six is a 'box' of various serious programmes, series and films. The 'colour' part is different on different occasions. It's used in newspapers, online guides and so on and not used much on screen.

*

And this is a logo for Six's HD counterpart.

Continuity:

*

This is a generic ident, with DOG overlayed. The background changes slowly, following the CA's voice. Colour changes during the day or because of the genre of the programme, or so on.

**

Two caption variants. As you can see, each one softly reminds to the viewer about the channel's website.

**

Two variants of promotions.

* *

Two ways of promoting the next programmes.

*

And the DOG itself.

Coming up: idents ideas.

Critique
I quite like most of these ideas, they'd be suitable for the audience of the fictional channel, and seem to have an aura of 'class', if that's the right word, around them.

The only thing I don't really like is the variant of the 'Coming next' graphic - the version where the graphic appears in the programme. It's slanted and diagonal, which whilst keeps in line with the rest of the branding, reminds me more of something an American news channel would use, rather than a channel of this calibre.

However, a very good mock.
