ITV abandons the South Bank

I don't think we should be discussing content of an unaired show - sorry!

Agreed - but I would say that if they want to keep it a total surprise as to who the Chaser is, studio staff needed to learn to carry their clipboards round the other way. Both the warmup and Bradley were at pains to point out that they didn't know who it was til they came out. The rest of us only needed to look at the list of production guests as one staff member walked past, as "XXX XXX's GUEST" was clearly marked on at least two people's list of production guests Rolling Eyes Razz

ITV abandons the South Bank

Well, they did mention during today's Chase recording that this was the very last day of TLS1 - and the warmup guy even gave a potted history of TLS, as he'd first come to be on a show in the mid 90s (contestant on Blind Date) and had pretty much stayed ever since. He also said Potato were hoping to move production of The Chase celeb specials up to TVC.

This Morning

As others have said, I took ITV Studios to be referring to the producer, not necessarily the location. It may sound a bit of a cheat to us, given they've not bothered to reword the intro, but technically it's right.

Eurovision 2018

I'd be surprised if they'd wanted to bring Lindgren back for a third straight year anyway - they never tend to have a host for more than two years at a time. But something needs changing next year - over modernising it just hasn't worked. Shame they seem to have lost the trusty hand of Edward af Sillen.

Channel 4 News

Split location in one bulletin would seem daft, but perhaps if they anchored the 7pm from GIR and the noon/weekend updates from wherever else they opt for, that might be a simpler option.

New look Loose Women

There was some concern at TLS on Thursday as to how many people would be likely to turn up for The Last Leg the following day. Josh Widdecombe was in recording QI and he, plus the rest of the cast and crew alike expressed surprise how many of us had actually turned up for the afternoon recording, and it was pointed out to us that anyone who applied for last minute Last Leg tickets would almost certainly get plenty.

Eurovision 2018

Frankly, anyone that has me thinking "Come back Filippa Bark, all is forgiven..." has to be pretty awful...

Eurovision 2018

Flag rules communicated to attendees pre show were simply "no larger than A3 size". Only once we all waved them did they decide they blocked the shots too much.

Eurovision 2018

I can confirm it was NOTHING to do with the BBC, a group was wandering down the queue outside giving all those who wanted, free EU flags. However after some "tests" preshow we were told we were not allowed to wave ANY flags til the result was announced, as we blocked most of the camera views. All but about two cameras were behind the crowd so I can believe it tbh. Personally I waved both the British AND EU flags together when the time came at the end.

Eurovision 2018

The winner was certainly the best received in the hall - but somehow what we heard on some songs, sounded better than what the viewer heard. A friend at home commented he couldn't understand how the BBC managed to struggle to translate live music to the audience at home. Having now heard the differences in the broadcast, I'm wondering the same...
