Well CNN couldn't have timed that any better. Let's just be grateful Bush will be out of the Whitehouse before he can declare a "War on Geese".

I'm not quite sure where CNN International fits in on Freeview, but if they are time sharing with Rocks & Co (which launches Thursday and runs from 4-9pm), I'm sure something could have been done to get coverage up from 4pm today.

It fits on the CITV/TeleG/Gems TV1 and TopUp Anytime slot, don't know how it is in Wales, but that's the case for the rest of the UK.

And just like that they've decided to destroy a great graphics package.... I much prefered the older one, was much less americanized. Nothing seems to fit with anything.... although the ticker is nice...

I agree - much prefer the old look.

Possible if CNN go into some kind of lockdown themselves they'll opt for simulcasting fulltime in the short term

I notice CNNI have a simulcast of the US votes tonight in place of the usual YWT slot.
Even if the simulcast does end up covering coronavirus, surely surely that simulcast needs dropped?! Coronavirus is a global story and understandably CNNUS will focus mainly on America.

True but also the argument that viewers around the world will switch to CNN for an American story. I think if a British equivalent was happening here BBC World viewers would expect them to cover it.

I think we'll have to add a category for Best Newsreaders Living Room to the end of year awards.

Are those opinions though or are they facts - he is clearly using the briefings for his own benefit and not the purpose which they're intended and there is no point in trying to cover that up.
