Just wondering if anybody has any information about the version of TCC that continued on some cable platforms after the service disappeared from Sky - this has been said by some to be the Nordic stream but my research has indicated that the Nordic stream generally showed Nordic programming. Does anybody know for sure what the stream was intended as/for?

No, but I believe only two people have ever used the word 'provenance' on Television Forum.

Yes, at 01:37 you can see the date and time from the cable box, Sun 19 Jul. This checks out, 19th July was a Sunday in 1998.

What was Tim Whitnall's link to TCC?

That's a video recorded in the UK of the stream in question (the version which appeared on some Cable services after the satellite stream finished). Everything I've read online indicates this was the Nordic stream - but the Nordic stream appears to have shown programming in Nordic!

Unless - some time between that Sweet Valley High promo, and 1998, they gave up with Nordic and just went out in English.
