ITV win horse racing rights from 2017

Was that No9 or no11 in the ITV horse racing idents just now? I know no10 was at 12.25 going into Bigheads.

No10 and 11 would be brand new, before anyone says anything.

I'm up to twelve now, including all versions on TV Live and The Ident Gallery - with ITV and UTV combined.

Cheers for that. I keep on forgotten about utv. I will need to renumber the utv idents at some point.

So it was no11 going into Newmarket.

No4 has at long last turned up on ITV4. So we know ITV4 has at least the first Six. UTV seems to have the higher number bunch while ITV is lower and middle.

ITV got the horse racing back next Saturday party because its Derby day. Its on until 5pm so there extended coverage.

With the idents: what is missing? Ie what is note worthy on the page:
* ITV: No7, no8 and No9
* ITV4: Anything above 6..
* UTV: 1-3, 5, 7,

Does anyone know what went out at 09.25? I tried to use the hub but the silly thing played up.

No.1 on ITV, No.4 on UTV

I wonder why STV takes the ITV Sport titles for The Opening Show, but uses its own Racing on STV titles (immediately followed by the ITV Sport logo) for the main event?

TV3 (which doesn't air The Opening Show) runs its own titles too. Also it doesn't use the ITV Sport DOG which appears during races - the green box which is behind it is still there but looks weird with nothing in it. It's a particularly odd thing to go to the trouble of doing when there are plenty of lower thirds that do have ITV Sport logos which still appear.

It's bizarre, to be honest. Everyone knows it's ITV Racing, there's no reason to block the DOG. TV3 also squeezes in extra commericals by rejoining coverage after commercial breaks a minute or more later. (or it did the one time I watched the racing on 3e)
