Well the moment of truth on DanceX has arrived.

Please, let it be Arlene's group.

Who are you asking? Because to m'knowledge, Nick Harvey doesn't read this topic...

Well after a little siesta, here we go again. Dance X finished at the end of August, and Team Bruno won. The first Saturday in September we had the first ever Eurovision DanceContest, and the UK did just as badly in this year's Eurovision Song Contest, i.e. second from last!

Now one month on, it's back, my favourite, STRICTLY COME DANCING. It's back tonight, 18:15 to 19:30 on BBC One.

Auntie's breaking with tradition this year from the last few. There will be NO results show an hour or so after the main programme finishes tonight. Instead, that will be shown TOMORROW evening on BBC One from 18:45 to 19:35. Does anyone know why the Beeb have decided to go that way? Will viewers get longer to vote, e.g. up until midday tomorrow or even part way through the programme tomorrow?

I'm looking forward to tonight's Strictly Come Dancing. I haven't checked out the SCD section on the BBC website, but I may well do so before tonight's show.

To stop the "wrong" people getting knocked out.

I don't see how this will make a scrap of difference. Are the BBC really going to give a longer voting time?

No, the Sunday show will be made about an hour after the Saturday show has finished, it will just be recorded and played out on Sunday where no one will bother watching because its already old news.

So that means that the results show, to be televised tomorrow evening, will not be live then, unlike the main show tonight. What on Earth's the point in recording it tonight about an hour after the main show has finished, and screening it tomorrow. They'd might as well show it live tonight.

Well it's finally begun, this year's series of Strictly Come Dancing.

Tonight it's the male celebrities taking part.

Camilla Dallerup is back. She was in last year's Strictly Come Dancing.

I've noticed the lines close at 9pm. So you won't have until tomorrow's results show to vote after all.

Please stop with the running commentary. It was annoying enough in the Eurocrap thread.
