Yes it was a good show, and as people have said, it seemed to tread the fine line of being suitable for their current viewers as well as entertaining for former viewers

I didn't tend to watch Childrens ITV that much when I was within the target age range, so I can't remember the presentation, but a look back at some of the programmes which I did watch like Grotbags, Knightmare etc which was good.

Notice for those of you who get annoyed by this sort of thing, the whole show was in 4:3, would CBBC do the same..?

The CITV and Central News sets really are very close!, I bet its funny on Central News when they are reading serious news, and there's a load of kids stuff in front of them!

The current CITV presenters seemed to hold it together well as well, and were knowledgable about the history of CITV, would Danielle have done as well (I'm never sure if she is just really good at being dizzy or really is dizzy all the time, a bit like Fiona Philips!)

Yep - The CITV Birthday bash was really well done!! I really enjoyed seeing Grotbags again! - she doesn't look a day older since the 1980's (or whenever her show started!)
It was nice to see Teabag again too!, but does anyone else remember, that there was also another Teabag, A much older looking one i think? Does anyone else remember the other Teabag?

Thanks for reading and Well done to CITV & Central.

Was the era with Scally and that woman always such bad quality, or were they showing audition tapes there? It looked terrible.

I think it might have had something to do with the fact that CITV was made by Stonewall int hat era rather than Cnetral, and those low quality recordings might have been all they could get hold of.

But all of the Stonewall productions were made at Central so if the tapes were kept anywhere it would be there surely.

In a word, yes. I have some better recordings they could have used Laughing

Anyway seeing as I forgot to add it in my last post, I think the show was done very well. It was good for people who like to see all the archived clips and the kids of today who still like to watch CiTV.

When sets like CiTV are changed or re-designed what do CiTV do with parts of the old set like the big yellow crab that Isn't used anymore?
