Maybe the differentiator is whether the match is going out broadcast on ESPN/ESPN2 or via WATCH ESPN (online in all flavours).

Does the US Open have the "psst... aahhh!" thing before the breaks that Roland Garros does?
DV
No that's just RG.
I notice Eurosport keep showing a promotional video for Eurosport Player which has the Twitter handle @EurosportUKTV on it in big letters, but if you go to that account you'll see they closed it in July.
Opening Ceremony on Arthur Ashe stadium running around 35-40 mins late.

They've fixed the twitter handle on the Eurosport Player promo.
Surprised they didn't choose to show Evans v Ram on Eurosport 2, but I suspect they would rather have Mats and Barbara doing some presentation on Eurosport 2 before introducing play, rather than just go straight into the match. It's not a very TV-friendly court either.

Isn't ES2 still pan European video wise? What's covered is suspect to international demand.

No, but obviously the studio in London can only be on one channel at a time. They can (and have) dipped into the International version's coverage (notable by the use of a 24hr clock in CET on promos) on the UK version of both Eurosport 1 and 2. I can't imagine Robson v Broady would have been shown outside the UK and Bedene v Kyrgios was introduced by Catherine Whitaker and Pat Cash on site, rather than Wilander and/or Schett. They clearly dipped into and back out of the International coverage in between the two British interest matches on Eurosport 2.
Anyway, I came here to share this caption. Some might say it's no bad thing not hearing Andrew Castle.

Not sure what I think of Sky Sports featuring in almost every ad break, considering that they dropped the competition this time around.

I caught a little bit of the Konta game on Eurosport 1 earlier, and the ball was juddering all over the place - a relic of poor 60Hz->50Hz conversion. Has all their coverage been like that, or has British Eurosport opted out of the main coverage to show a British player and don't quite have as good facilities available?
