Which TV presenters do you miss?

Looking through some old videos the other day, I found a bit of the late political jouralist Vincent Hanna talking about something and it reminded me that he was a great broadcaster with a real mission to explain and a great sense of humour. (BTW, who remembers his appearance in 'Blackadder The Third'? Good chap!)

So... which past presenters (whether ****, retired or just not seen very much anymore) do you miss?

I miss Dan Corbett the BBC weather man, he was great.

Wow... a topic moved *into* the main forum! Heigh ho...

Wasn't Dan fantastic! He was my favourite until he left. Remember he always used to say 'and that's the weather, for now' and 'this little chap here'. He was by far the best weather presenter there was!!!

Where did Dan go??? I used to think he was doing an Elvis impression when he pointed at the camera and said 'that's all ...... for now'

I wondered where he went aswell. John Territ, the business presenter said (I think) that he was going to do work at Granada. Can anyone confirm this!

I don't exactly 'miss' him but it would be nice to see the return of the BBC's Justin Webb.

I think Justin is still about at the BBC. The Justin Webb/Juliet Morris era on BBC Breakfast News was one of the best IMO. They should definitely let him do News 24/Weekend Network News - he is a great newscaster.
