The music is far better now, still OTT, but nowhere near as annoying, overall it's just looks a bit neater.

It will go widescreen when they move to HD, but it wouldn't surprise me if the SD version remains in 4:3...

I believe the font change was required because they've been having problems with the ticker recently.

New music is much better.

Those disappointed with the tweaks only have themselves to blame, I have no idea why some were thinking they were going widescreen when it's been common knowledge that won't happen until they move.

Pretty much the same as before, other than new titles (which, er, aren't that different from before) and new music (which again, em, isn't dissimular from the last theme).

Well that would be stupid, but if the widescreen version was only in HD there would be no excuse not to use the full width of the screen for stats.

Surely some broadcaster is going to break the 4:3 safe zones soon - it needs to happen at sometime.

thats exactly what it looks like on At The Races, I mean that's in widescreen, and SSN isnt?????

Not if the aspect ratio isn't what's disappointing...
