Just as a matter of interestt, I'll round up which presenters did which News over the Easter period:

To note, is that a certain person from Look North didn't appear at all throughout the Easter weekend, I think it was the first Look North Sunday since Christmas Eve, that was presented by somebody different!

Who covered the news over Easter, at the heart of your region?

So why did the BBC insist on using Darren Jordan so much as the presenter of all the bulletins for three whole days!! Surely there were some other presenters around. He's not that bad, but not my favourite by a long way and there must have been room for a change - why put Sian Williams on at breakfast and not through the rest of the day when she is way better!

She was doing the Six tonight and was brilliant as ever - lets see more of her!

Darren jordon is employed for weekends and maybe offered to do the daytime instead

Yes, I suppose so - but still to be on duty for what must have been about eleven-twelve hours for three days over the Easter weekend...!

Sian was brilliant this evening at Six, and yes Steve I think she should present more weekday daytime bulletins, like she did last year.
Can anyone remember her presenting most weekend bulletins, about a year ago?

Looks like Nicholas Owen pulled the short straw at ITN, and he was backed up by a very dodgy ITN production team. Opening titles were a mess over the weekend.

SAT + SUN : Andrew Brittain all both days (who shops at the same Asda as me and went to the same school and college as me as well!)
MON : Rachel Harrison all day
TUES : Rachel Harrison until Lunchtime news, then Rachel Bullock for the afternoon roundup. Lucy Meacock and Rob McLaughlin did Granada Tonight and Rachel Bullock will probably be back at 11.20.

Wow - you are a real telly-news fan if you keep a record of news presenters - well done!

There only was ONE bulletin yesterday!
