Sorry if there has been a topic on this.

BBC1: http://support.bbc.co.uk/multicast/rams/uni/bbc1.ram
BBC2: http://support.bbc.co.uk/multicast/rams/uni/bbc2.ram
BBC4: http://support.bbc.co.uk/multicast/rams/uni/video16.ram
BBC News 24: http://support.bbc.co.uk/multicast/rams/uni/news24.ram

These are test streams of BBC Channels. There are also much higher quality streams of certain BBC Radio stations too. The quality of these test streams are very good indeed!

They are only about 5 seconds behind the terrestrial broadcast too.

They have been up for a while now. as you said, really good quality, compaired with the video news content. No BBC Three for some reason.

Wow, how did you find that. Is this part of the BBC's new video player thats causing so much intrest? Thats rather brilliant, I wonder if its limited to UK viewers only.. can anyone who isn't in the UK view it?

Apparently shows which cause copyright issues won't be streamed.

A prime example i'm thinking will be Doctor Who. After all the publicity of the BBC being annoyed of episodes ending up on the internet and the massive payments from companies like CBC to show it on their stations, i doubt that they will stream tonights episode.

Will be interesting to see if they do though.

Some people on DS said that only UK IPs can view it.

Perhaps thats why BBC Three isn't streamed. Programmes like Little Britain etc.

Having asked some overseas friends from Germany and America, it seems as though they can view it at the moment.

What about regional content?

I'll assume its either not shown, or is BBC London.

the thing I find odd is N24 is in 4:3

So is BBC4. I wonder if they have any sort of ARC system for the main BBC channels. When things like the Learning Zone come on in 4:3 for example.

BBC London is shown on the BBC One feed. FriendsFanatic, only some ISPs have signed up to it. What ISP are you on?
