Did anyone else find the segment with the teacher from the audience a little cruel and humiliating? Stood there singing about how shes fat and grumpy Crying or Very sad

She certainly didn't look amused at times.

Did she even win anything - the kids got bikes but don't think she won anything.

Couple of points - strange they have no qualms about letting people bet on Ant and Dec yet still won't use the phrase "Gamble" for the end game, even though OFCOM have long dropped that nonsensical investigation into gameshows.

Also is the show falling into the same trap as the first series and just not evolving enough - no new features tonight and can't believe the "Super Computer" has survived another series. That said though easily the best Saturday night show to have aired so far this year and ITV really should be squeezing in another series in the early autumn before the countdown to I'm a Celeb begins. They managed to do Red or Black and I think have done at least one Takeaway autumn run before so foolish not too really - although this year with the Rugby World Cup it wouldn't be an option.

No new features, but they are still rotating the features so they don't all appear every week.

I'm a Celeb get me out of my ear - probably only been about half a dozen editions of this since SNT returned, and probably only 3 or 4 editions this series.

Compare that with Noel's House Party where an item would be on every week for about 20 weeks

The rotating of features does work well. The idea of features like the Super Computer and the photo booth are there to allow Ant, Dec & the team to prepare for the next items, and they're a lot easier to view than the Celebrity prison idea that they did years ago.

In regards to the primary school teacher I expected them to go into a last verse with lyrics about how nice she is and how they have forgiven her, and the usual holiday courtesy of ice lolly.com.

I think it's great, I just think it's a shame we still have to rely on Ant & Dec to revive TV every now and then.

For Win The Ads I'm guessing they're not allowed to say the word "gamble" anymore, instead using "stay or play".

That's been the case since they came back in 2013. Doesn't have the same ring to it at all.

Funny. I'm sure they used to use "gamble" during Challenge Ant on SMTV, and the "gambler" was a child.

Indeed they did Larry - they used to gamble on the killer question!

It appeared to stem from the shortlived investigation into gambling in gameshows which was rumoured to be on the horizon at the time the show returned. It pretty much got thrown out before it was even started due to the absurdity of it all, especially coming after OFCOM opened the door for all the betting ads we now see on TV.

As I said last week it's strange they stick to "stay or play" when they were openly inviting viewers to "bet" on the outcome of Ant v Dec last week, even if that bet was free. It's not like the phrase "gamble" is exclusively associated with betting anyway - it can be a gamble going out of the house without an umbrella for example. For me the main issue is the phrase "Stay or Play" is a weak one (and indeed to play they have to stay!) - "Gamble" is far better but even if they're avoiding that surely they could come up with something better.

P.S. No Little Ant and Dec tonight - I thought they were doing something at the Brits.

They popped up right at the end in the closing shot.

It seemed to be lacking something tonight with no little Ant or Dec and no Ant vs Dec imo.
The Disgrace worked very well - part of me thinks that Ant didn't know about Anne Heggety's appearance. The sketch at the end of the programme reminded me a lot of SM:TV - maybe it's something that they could try and fit in every now and then.
Richard Madeley's IACGOOME worked very well.

Edit: So they did. Maybe it had to be dropped for some reason.
