Its FNC. When have they ever stated anything remotely true. And if something is blatantly wrong. They bury it an rarely issue a correction and thats only if a stink is made.

I'm sure both Jeremy Corbyn and Michael Gove would have something to say about the second line on that lower third....

To be fair if you asked most Brits who was heading up the 'Leave' campaign more would say Farage or even Boris before before naming Gove. Also 'led the Brexit battle' is very different from saying he was the leader of the official leave campaign. You could also argue he is an opposition leader too, just not the official opposition leader.

So you could argue neither of those claims is wholly incorrect.

PBS Newshour presenter Gwen Ifil has died aged 61. She had taken a break from the show last week, which she co-hosted with Judy Woodruff, "due to personal health issues", having also had a break earlier in the year.

President Obama made this tribute earlier.

Gwen Ifill will sorely be missed. A great journalist. A professional.

Very sad to watch. Gwen was one of the good guys. Warmth, talent and a relentlessly unbiased approach to journalism. We need people like her in our current times.

I posted these elsewhere, but I thought I'd share here. The CBS Evening News is still coming from Studio 57 this week. Perhaps there's an overhaul of Studio 47 coming?

CBS also had a very nice tribute to Gwen Ifill on Monday night's show.

Please let there be something big coming to Studio 47. I love CBS Evening News. But that studio is awful. I hate it. Its so old and outdated its ridiculous. Maybe they will go modern and get rid of the funky blonde wood and the multicolours. But being CBS its highly unlikely we will see anything radically different if they are updating. Yeesh. We can only hope.

I've come to the conclusion you hate all news studios Mouseboy.

I'd actually leave them where they are now - it works, is far more visually interesting than most other US news studios and isn't used at that time of day, so why waste the expense on a second studio?

CBS Evening News has had a very conservative studio design/appearance - and while I like the fresh look they've put together from the CBS This Morning studio, I'd be really surprised if this were a sign of things to come! Then again, very happy to be surprised.

They recently changed their title music to a more modern package
