Regarding the current, soon to be former graphics, is it me or is the LIVE part of the location bug a darker shade of red?

Yes it’s definitely darker and it’s on both World and NC. I think it’s probably part of some pre-preparation work before Reith launches?

Noticed it became darker last night

I had noticed the darker red on the live bug on the Ten on BBC One tonight.

Oh; Martine Croxall just cut off there on The Papers.

I wish they'd have John Stapleton and Penny Smith on together to review the papers every now and again.

Indeed, I have always thought the same. They are certainly missing a trick there. A great partnership on the GMTV sofa after Fiona and Eamonn, of course!

Don’t know if this fits here or if it’s been mentioned yet, but all of this week, the BBC Sport news bulletins have been using some updated on-screen graphics that matches the yellow brand. Looks out of place on the news channel because it contrasts against red, but its positioning on screen looks like it is very much in preparation for the new ticker along the bottom of the screen.

Briefing closing, promos, last 2013-2019 style countdown, intro of Breakfast.

Quite poor really when they could have dropped the promo's and played it out in full one last time
Only 1 decent length one overnight at 4am we got it coming on at 77 seconds. others were 48, 30 something, 20 something and a rubbish 10 second one

Isn’t the last countdown in the old style at 8:28?
