Well I think I live further south than that now, as do the rest of Devon & Cornwall......but I take your geographical point. Obviously there was no reason for Jane to suddenly break into a northern accent when percievably "off-air". It just sounded very natural and "luvvie" to me. Bless her, it made her sound natural, I'm sure they don't speak the same all the time - I don't !!!!

Obviously Hymagumba... got it wrong, but he is being discreetly silent on the matter now Very Happy

I meant northern to mean "regional". ahem

I'm actually Geordie so I should have picked it up as being more southern, must have been having a deaf day.
