What happened there on BBC News 24? Tim just interreupted a live to say "You're watching BBC News", break for about 3 secs and then continue. Are they being carried on WORLD too?

The joint service has just ended. Tim Willcox continues on BBC News 24 and Mike Embley has taken over on World.

.. and now News24 has gone blank in Cornwall - Freeview - Redruth transmitter.

bbc news 24 has gone down in london too, it must be nationwide

The nationals bulletin at 1105 came from News 24 (it was always going to not because of the earthquake) and Sophie presented it - it was on both N24 and BBC One. Tim was probably on BBC World to give World time to swap presenters over as they had been rolling all the way with Adrian since early this morning. AFAIK the thing at 1300 is just on News 24 but with Sophie joining Jon.

News 24's down in Gloucestershire too. Thought it was just my TV.

Is it on all platforms or just on DTT?

News 24 is OK on Sky at the moment....

back at 12:35 - and isn't the BBC Duty office useless when you call them.

i have pressed red and it says "ITV NEWS CHANNEL"
"welcome to BBCi"

then the channel rejoined the covrage, the presenter was unaware of the problem
