Not really a full-scale mock of any kind - just playing around with a few (rough!) graphic ideas and didn't want to clog up the existing News at Ten thread in The Newsroom.
Really like picture two, although I personally would stick to the "political editor" coming up first, followed by the Twitter handle thereafter rather than having both appear at once.
I love the use of the goldy-brown, blue and Big Ben. Very distinctive.
They use something similar to the last one (though only as wide as the text) occassionally rather than the standard ITV News astons. Really though apart from the badly placed Twitter handle they could all work. I guess it depends on whether they go for a clockface based logo like 2008 or simply just at "AT TEN" to the ITV News logo.
Love! If you made the 'at' on NEWS at TEN italic, that would be proper crazy. Colours are really nice. All the clocks seem to have different gradients, second one down is best with the radial gradient from the centre. Can't wait to see more!
Again, literally creaming at your work Nicky. Your News at Ten stuff has really been superb, I can't say much more!
I love how unique they are, I love the name strap, compact but bold. Love the hints of gold and use of navy blue. The clock face is awesome in that square. Only thing I'm not sure about is the last one. Not sure if the Live / Westminster bit is in the best place, but then don't know where else it would go.
As Lee said, I think "at" in italics would look really cool too.
This looks really good Nicky, I love the colour scheme. My only suggestion would be to include the ITV logo on the gold coloured box in the first image.

Lovely looking. Proves graphics can be modern and interesting at the same time. These add some nice warmth, too.
