YTV At 40

Thanks so much for posting that, Asa.... a really nice nostalgic look back. I loved that package of idents which, to me, are much more effective and well-produced than ITV1's current look. Even the National Weather looks so much better in that clip than how it does today!

I liked those idents. Wasn't a fan of that look for Calendar though.

at Scott in Emmerdale, obviously before he aged 3 years overnight!

Agreed, those idents were lovely. I think the one on that clip was a generic one, but others used to vary with the seasons.

Having said that, did any regions have an uglier '888' DOG than Yorkshire at that time? Vile!

And is it just me, or did the Calendar logo look a bit like a radioactive warning symbol?
