We all knew the Chevron 'fell off' the Studios, but I didn't realise they've changed it to ITV Yorkshire.. (from watching the docu)

I wish I could have seen YTV at 40 in the London area. They did some great shows, the best of which has to be ITV's best ever sitcom Rising Damp. Very Happy

Thanks for uploading those frostst01.

I noticed the copyright for that programme is ITV Broadcasting Ltd. Is this different to ITV Productions, and if so, does anyone know why?

Did a google search and came across this:

'Formerly known as:
Anglia Television Ltd.'

Hmm..

So I wonder why YTV didn't make it themselves. They have the resources to make it.

ITV Productions is the network production company, ITV Broadcasting is the regional companies which don't tend to make anything bar the news thesedays, all regional programmes are made by indies

This programme was a 'Really Good Productions' production for ITV Broadcasting

The "Is it Worth It?" programme about pirate radio was an in-house Yorkshire production by the looks of things, with a simple (c) ITV 2008 and An ITV Prodiction encap.

I wish Central did something like this for 25 Years of Central Independent Television. Even though they joined forces with the greedy Granada and destroyed ITV, CARL T ON showed a hour* long programme of 20 years of Central!
*Might not have been that long.

Central did show a 5 part series called "TV Gold", to mark nearly 50 Years of ITV in the Midlands in 2004 (this is actually being repeated at the moment).
I've been watching that, It had The "ITV CENTRAL" endcap! They don't use that anymore!

There's a nice trailer for this programme doing the rounds, so tune after Calendar News daytime bulletins to see it.

It features quick images of all the YTV idents at the start. It also includes a chevron on screen throughout and what with it being voiced by Karen Petch it's like 1995 all over again (The endboard is corporate ITV1 though)

It would be nice if they used the Yorkshire logo on their birthday but since ITV is run from London I'll doubt it would happen. However I guess there would be some control from Leeds for the regional news.
