According to TV Ark, YTV was first broadcast on 30/07/1968. That means it's 33 tomorrow.

Did all other TV stations, like Thames etc all start on the same day when there was the licence reshuffling in 1967-8?

According to MHP its actually 33 days old today!

This is not quite accurate, however Yorkshire had actually started on 29th July 1968, Granada sold them the 'Monday' as it was for broadcasting.

Thames started on the 30th July 1968.

Other franchises starting in 1968 was HTV and LWT.
